ISBA Webinar

Asking the Right Questions

Gathering information to value a business of any size begins with asking questions.  There is an art to knowing what questions to ask, who to address the questions to, when to ask questions and even where should questions be asked.  The information gathering process is more than just asking questions but it also involves reviewing the history of the entity being valued. Those documents will include company specific financial information, industry comparative data and new business trends being faced by the company ownership. Not only is it important to understand the answers provided by your valuation client but it is also just as important to  know what is not being said to help determine the company specific risk which impacts the value determination.

Data gathering lists will be provided to guide new valuation experts in finding the correct resources to be used in the valuation process.  Interview topic guidelines will be used during the webinar
